About Pastor Adam
Adam and his wife, Kalee, were married in 2007 and have two children: a son (4) and a daughter (2).
Adam was saved as a student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln through the ministry of The Navigators. Sensing the Holy Spirit might be calling him to plant a church, he was encouraged by another church planter to connect with Todd Bumgarner who was in the early stages of planting 2 Pillars Church in Lincoln in 2009.
After meeting Todd and hearing about his vision for 2 Pillars Church and the city of Lincoln, Adam and Kalee committed to being a part of the original 2 Pillars Launch Team.
Since then, Adam has served as a Gospel Community leader, missional intern, fundraised staff member, Gospel Community leader coach, and Church Planter In-Residence in 2 Pillars. He was installed as a Pastor/Elder in October 2013 and has been assessed and approved as a church planter by both Converge Worldwide and Acts 29.
The Stahrs love Lincoln, understand Lincoln, and have called Lincoln home for years. Adam grew up in Northeast and Northwest Lincoln before moving to Sioux Falls, SD for high school. In fact, Adam has memories of watching his parents play shuffleboard at Arnold’s Tavern in Havelock as a child. They are both graduates of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Adam and Kalee are convinced that God is calling them to be about the work of planting 2 Pillars Church–Northeast and are eager to watch the transforming power of the gospel take root in the lives of individuals, families, and neighborhoods in Northeast Lincoln.
